LILAC-BREASTED ROLLER (Ludlow Lambertson 2013)
TET 6" Semi-evergreen Early-Mid Season Reblooms 33" Height
(Subtle Knife X Sacred Ibis)
LILAC-BREASTED ROLLER is named for one of the mega spectacularly colored birds that I saw in Africa on my last big birding trip. LILAC-BREASTED ROLLER is a coral pink with a thick wax-like substance on petals and sepals. LILAC-BREASTED ROLLER has a bella beautiful blue-purple eye and edge, a diamond-dusted gold outer edge and green throat. LILAC-BREASTED ROLLER is one of my best blue eyed and edged taken into the pink line. 3-way branching and 20 buds. Easily fertile both ways.
